- It's the responsibility of the user to log in every 2 or 3 weeks to ensure their account doesn't go dormant, then eventually expire.
- It's the responsibility of the person sponsoring the non-employee accounts to be aware of the account expiration date and to adjust it as required. Any manager can adjust any non-employee's account expiration date in NEMS, or even remove the expiration entirely, if they so choose.

Types of REDCap Projects
There are several flavors of REDCap projects to choose from as you begin thinking about building your own project. Each type of project has its advantages and disadvantages, and may fit the specific needs better of one type of project over another.
